The Beehive Foundry is a boutique marketing consulting firm in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded on hive theory and the organizational effectiveness of bee colonies, we believe small steps can add big value. A team that knows its organizational goals and has a corporate culture that lives its brand and values works efficiently and effectively towards a common pursuit of excellence. When every employee’s motivation is aligned to serve the common good, and everyone understands the organization’s core mission and values, a brand grows from the inside out. Much like a beehive, if every touchpoint of an organization tells the same dynamic story, a brand thrives.
Our clients include schools, public service organizations, and private businesses.
To help organizations identify and embrace what makes them unique so they can successfully and authentically show the world exactly who they are.
We want to help you find your story, embrace it, and teach you how to tell it beautifully.
Mariana grew up in Jacksonville and is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a degree in communication and international studies. With a passion for marketing, she has worked for brands including Mayo Clinic, Bon Appétit magazine, Disneyland Paris, Birks & Mayors, and the University of Miami. In 2008, she returned to school to study photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and opened a photography studio specializing in family and lifestyle photography.
Upon returning to Jacksonville in 2011, she continued to run a successful photography studio while serving on the board of her children’s preschool and the executive board of the Council of Catholic Academies. The Council of Catholic Academies was formed by business professionals in Jacksonville, in coordination with the Bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine, and was tasked with cultivating excellence amongst the 37 schools. Through advertising, professional development workshops, and coordinated diocesan-wide events, the CCA worked to ensure the success of Catholic schools in North Florida. Mariana contributed her background in marketing and photography to help Catholic schools thrive. In her current role at Beehive, Mariana relies on her talents in creative design and communication to help clients become storytellers.
Mariana has an unrelenting commitment to cohesive messaging from the inside out. She believes strongly that the value of a brand begins from within and works hard to ensure that at all touchpoints of an organization, the brand is communicated clearly, authentically, and with style. When she isn’t ridding the world of Comic Sans criminals, she can be found spending time with her husband and three boys - camera in hand.
